cleaning ...

ho ho ho ... today , stayed at home for the entire day ... then , as planned from yesterday night, i cleaned up my room ... whoo ...

now, its sparkling clean ... threw all the rubbish, and kept all the unimportant stuff under my bed ...

i actually used bleach (plus water of course) to wipe the shelves and the table ! now my hands is full of the bleach smell ... eek ...

wa !! the smell is killing me ! the amount of dust accumulated after many months of not cleaning was amazing ... it could actually turn the entire pail of water greyish ... puke ... i even had to change the water for like 3 times ... yuck ... and also, i squashed 2 itsy witsy spiders , supposingly starting their family at my shelf ... too bad ... bad choice for setting up their home at MY home ...

now, i am so happy that my room is sooooooo anti-dust ... yes ar !!!

then , tomorrow , i am gonna attend my cousin's son's first birthday bash !!! whooo .... hope theres gonna be lots of yummy stuff to eat ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

haha ... if you have been to my place, you would have noticed that my house is filled with reptiles !! not snakes not lizards .... but tortoises !!!

from young , i felt an affinity with tortises ... thats why, i simply love tortoises ... have lots of tortoise displays too ...

showing you my beloved, cute tortises !! never really got a name for them, cos im not that good at giving people names ! they have been with me for 8 years now !! kinda treated them like my brothers!! today, let them out of their homes for a walk ... (hope they enjoyed)

now, let me introduce them to you , the one pictured on top, is a shy tortoise ... (had a hard time snapping his picture) ... btw, both them are hunks ! he is shy, timid and quiet ... doesnt like to climb about, contented with the life he is leading ... he has a darker tone to his skin ... and is slightly smaller in size than his companion ... they lived seperately though.. because if they lived together, they will kinda deprive each other of food ... survivor instincts born in them perhaps ...

today, when i let them out , he kept trying to squeeze into a dark corner which obviously he couldnt fit into ... haha ... funny ...


alright ... then , now the one pictured at the bottom ... is a playful ninja turtle ... ultra active... loves to climb and look at people ... whenever my mum is cleaning the floor , it would always stand up on his hind legs and look at my mum ... they have always been good friends as my mum is always the one bathing them ... he loves bath time ... whenever my mum runs the tap down his face, he will not struggle but yet, will close his eyes and enjoy his face wash ... cute eh ...

today, when i let him out, he even stepped on my toes on purpose .. and tried to press his legs down on my toes ... supposedly to attack me ... but his actions was nevertheless adorable !!

pepper lunch

today, went swimming again ! 52 laps ... met marilyn as we were ending ... before that, saw vincent ng and berlinda lee ... must be filiming at the swimming complex ... then went to kt's house ... sat down for awhile and left the house for taka ...

at taka , ate pepper lunch ... quite fun , the way the meal was presented ... however, a price was to be paid ... $16.90 for a meal .... ok lor ... once in awhile , and i always tell myself that meals cannot be saved on , you have to eat what you want , so , paid ... luckily the meal was not bad ... quite delicious ...

then, went to walk around in boutiques, if only i bought one of those, i tell you , my mum will come screaming at me, because, the electricity bills is again $300+ .... omg ....

then , went home ... then , felt hungry again ... ate something like 10 gyozas ... then , michelle sent a message saying that mrs gan had already gave birth ... whooo ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! then , congratulated mrs gan, and wished her well ... look forward to the full month treat in october ...

then , the jc students are having their promos starting from tomorrow... good luck and all the best to all of you !!! j2 is within grasp now, its now up to you to work hard and get promoted !!!

soap gets in your eyes ...

ouch ... just bathed, then when i was bathing, the soap splashed then kena my eyes ... there was an ultra burning sensation ... then couldnt rub my eyes because my hand was also full of soap ... ouch ... very very painful ... luckily i wasnt blinded ...

before that , was stoning at home until about 5pm ... then went to kw's house to mj showdown ... won $32 ... but still , didnt get the cash , cos was still on credit ...nevermind ! credit's getting smaller and smaller ...

then, when i got home , i got to know that my ex-tutor is leaving the country to work ... was shocked ! but still wish him well ... then , i smsed him and found out that he was leaving for 1-2 months to korea ... haha ... he looks like hady in fact .. haha ... skinnier version ...

again, wish him all the best !!! hope to see him this week end ...

woke up at 1pm ... ate not nice chicken rice ... then started my stoning .... i even got so bored that i walked to depot road shoping center to buy newspaper ... thats what had happened to me over the past 3 hours ...

ooh ... today, is mother's first day of work ... good luck ! and, i helped father lubricate all the rollers in da house ... cos i guess that he was also bored ... haha ...

tonight , we witnessed the crowning of the second singapore idol ... hady mirza ... nice one dude ... in my opinion, both are winners ... they got wings !!

WHAT THE !!! the posting of pictures things gets me on my nerves !!! cant post hady's handsome face ... other time then ...

btw ... its been quite an eventful day , in the morning , went to jurong, to get my computer fixed ... got the whole screen replaced ... very efficient, i was impressed ...

then, took a bus to harbourfront, ate at seah im food center ... drank teh halia .. wa ! rocks ! then went to big megastore as there was a sale going on ... didnt managed to find the items with the prices stated in the flyers though ... then , kw and me went to enjoy the osim massage chair .. enjoyed for almost more than 30mins ... haha .. nice ...

then, we realised it was not early anymore, about 5.30pm .. then we went home ...

reached home , unknowingly, fell asleep on the sofa ... woke up at 7pm ... then had dinner ... drank so much soup ... got a full tank of liquid inside my stomach ...

then , watch sg idols , and forgot what else i did ... until 10pm , went jogging ... this time, managed to hit 12 mins ... but still not satisfying ... can be better ... aiming at 11 next time round ...

now ... again,,, i am stoning infront of the computer ... ar !!! bored ar !!!!

chelsea just beaten fulham by 2-0 ... haha .. and guess who scores ... the recently much critisised FRANK LAMPARD .... he had shun all the critisism and slammed 2 goals pass the fulham goal line ... yes ar !! looks like the media has to wake up and swallow their words passed about lampard ... a player with such quality ...

first goal was a penalty taken with such grace ... it just sent the keeper the wrong way ... bullet speed the ball was kicked , and the roof of the net was almost torn ...

second was a hard pounded grounder, driven to the bottom left corner of the net .... fulham keeper dived, but was never able to reach the ball swerving away from his hands ...

excellent quality , goodness gracious me ... looks like we have found the high scoring midfielder of the premiership back at chelsea !!!

yesterday, went mj showdown at kw's place ... with kw, kt, kw's grandmother , and of course me ...

reached at 10pm+ , then started .. the showdown was quite closely competed ... and in the end , i ended up winning $2 ... better than nothing ... haha ...

then, 3 of us slept on the single bed until 12pm ... we had to fold ourselves to fit onto the bed ... haha ...

then, went to zion riverside for brunch ... afterthat .. went back to kw's place to stone ... for about one hour or so ...

then went home ... took a bath , and slept ... for 4-8pm .... woke up, ate a giant packet of not nice chicken rice ... super salty ... eek ... planned to run, but ahia ... wake up so late, eat so much , how to run ? ... so , decided to reserve the energy to swim tomorrow ...

HOPE KIAN WEE WONT BE LATE TOMORROW !!!

why must this happen to me ?

kao !!! after posting my last post , suddenly, a white line appeared on my monitor !! shocked !! then i restarted the computer to see whether it helps ... unfortunately NO...

then called the service center ... the operator asked if i want to send it down or they send me an engineer to rectify the problem ... cos i have nothing to do anyway , i decided to send it down to the center ...

hopefully they will compensate me with freebies ... haha .. perhaps a new computer, windows vista , or upgrade my ram and graphics card ... fingers crossed ... dreaming on ....

haircut ...

today ... miracle dawn upon me .. woke up at 11am !! wow .. but thats not the most important thing .. i went for a haircut !!

on my way to the place , the skys weeped for my hair ... it rained heavily ... suddenly ..

then when i reached the saloon .. i told the person to keep it long ... then after about 10mins, she told me , 'done !' ... wow .. this must be my shortest haircut in my life .. i think the total length of hair fallen is less than 1 meter ... haha .. but nevermind .. at least i look neater now ...

then when i paid , she told me that because she only trimmed alittle, she charged me 10 bucks ... ok lor .. if she's paid by the minute, she would have been a millionaire ... haha ... no la .. just joking ... actually i was quite thankful because she did listen to instructions and kept the hair long....

so , good job!!

just went jogging ... improved by 1 min ... 14 mins for 2.6km ... need to do better ...

today , stayed at home, did nothing ... watched looney tunes ... haha ... didnt show my favourite road runner part ... but instead showed duck dogers ... where marvin appeared ... wasnt that funny .. but just find marvin kinda adorable .. haha ...

whooo .. today went swimming with kw again ... supposed to meet at 11am , but in the end woke up at 11am ... and when i call kw, he was also still sleeping ... so we decided to meet at 12 pm in the end ...

reached at the swimming pool , alright , i admit i was late .. thanks to kids central showing the einstien show .... quite interesting , very nice artistic creations.. but back to main topic...

for the first time in my life, i swam 24 laps ... whoo ... thats like more than 3 times the distance than the last time i swam ... not bad eh ?? kw swam 24 laps too ... ok .. then , after that, we walked to tiong baru plaza , had ya kun kaya toast ... and went to kt's house for awhile, while waiting for wils to meet us ...

kw thought that wils will lie that he reached (as usual) so, by the time wils called, we were still taking our time to get prepared to walk back to tiong baruh plaza ... but less than we expected, wils had already arrived and for quite some time.. then he showed black face for awhile, then we were back to normal ... we took a train to city hall ...

then, at marina sq, kt and wils both bought stuff .. polo tee and board shorts respectively ... (cant upload the images .. got some kinda prob ... anybody know why??)

then, we went to kw's house for mj showdown (yet again) ... won $40 ... but still couldnt get the cash cos my account was still in credit ... ok lor ... nvm ... one day , i can do it !!

gonna continue with my fitness regime for the rest of the week .. jogging and perhaps soccer !! yes !! havent played for ages ... cant wait to kick come balls ...

haha .. another tribute ... but , i just find this very strange ... why is every kind of instant noodles to us , (or me only) is called maggi mee ? even if its brand is not maggie ? cool eh ? guess the term maggi mee had came into our lives and renamed the term , 'instant noodles' . so i must say, well done maggi !!! you've lived your name !!

bored ar !!!

lol ... yesterday , OOPS ! should say , today morning , kt, kw and wils came over to my place and played mj ... whooo ... won $9 ... but nv got the cash as my account was still on credit ... but nevermind .. at least i can debit my account by a little (better than nothing) ...

alright .. after that, kt and kw goes to sch .. but before that, kt's pants kinda got screwed haha .. the zip actually got detatched .. (hard to describe) ... and it kinda wont close up ... but luckily, due to sheer persistance, wils did manage to fix the zip back ...

then , they went off and i went to sleep ... until 3.30 pm , i was in dreamland ... woke up , helped my mum with housework (wow !!)... wore clothes for the couch , fixed the air-con's filter net thingy ... what a day ...

stoned for the rest of the afternoon until 9pm, after dinner, i decided to go jogging ... whoo !! planned a 2.6 km route , a run from my house to the former st. andrew's jc ... took about 15 mins ! what the .... partly because i had stiches (however that is spelt) halfway ... and not running more than 1km for like 10 mths or so (from before 'o's till now ... so , i should say , not a v bad start, but can get better ... need to run more often , so , i have decided to run whenever i am free ... cant be lazy anymore... if not ,,, hea hea hea ...

talking about the run , whoo ... had a strong start , then by slightly more than half of the 2.6 , my appendix kinda gave a sharp pain ... thinking that i had just finished dinner for 1hr or so, i decided not to push myself and continued by walking with pace... then, after the pain subsided, i continued running... its not until i completed the run that my mind starts spinning ... i thought it wasnt that serious , and i climbed 42 flights of stairs to my house... whoo .. that made the spinning worst ... kinda couldnt stand still ... haha .. until now, i am still feeling the after effects ...

so, a lesson to all ... maintain your fitness , and dont climb stairs after your runs (not diarrhoea!).. if not, you will feel what it is like to be a drug addict ...

today .. went to watch pulse .. went on time but in the end found out nobody was late ... the show was about hackers finding out another broadband frequency avaliable on in the world .. they tried to tap into the network but in the end discovered that those were not broadband signals , but signals from the neitherworld ... then, the monsters from the neitherworld were in the end brought into the real world and haunted every human in the world .. everywhere with phone and wi-fi signals were in danger... only those areas without such signals were free from harm ... thats about it .. beware np !!!

whooo ... today the super sunday ... matches featuring man utd vs arsenal , chelsea vs liverpool... results are--- both chelsea and arsenal win their opponents by 1-0 ... yes !!! what a day ... this is the kind of results a chelsea fan will desire the most at this stage of the premiership ... so . well done chelsea and thank you arsenal !!!

today, also is a sad day cos i lost in the mj showdown .. sad ... but dont worry! i will win them back one day !! lets not elaborate on the sad incidents! cos i am still celebrating chelsea's victory which will indirectly lead us to coronation for the third time running !! whooo !!!

shopping spree ....

whooo .. today, went swimming at jurong !!! nice .. had lots of fun with my buddies ... even took extremely silly pictures .. enjoyed the lazy pool , performed tons of wrestling stuns (how old already??) alright ... haha .. also enjoyed kw's fall ... didnt know what he was doing, went up the lazy pool, he tripped on the concrete block thingy while reversing ... then he kinda ROLLED on his back ... the people behind him was looking ... what a funny sight ... kt and me were stunned and kept laughing at such an incident... even the onlooking lifeguard came and approach kw and asked ," eh boy ! you filming world's funniest video ar ?? " haha .. cant stop laughing while typing ... gonna post the silly pictures when kt sends me those ... but alright .. back to the topic ..

after swimming, we were considering on where to go .. we decided .. marina .. alright .. we went on the train and were on out way .. but , when we reached tiong baru, we kinda decide to come to my place to watch scary vcds which my brother rented ... but, on out way to the bus stop , we kinda thought that it is quite boring and now, we changed the destinaton to queensway .. to shop for kt's shoes ... we were there , saw lots of shoes and kt decided to buy the latest design in town .. the adizero ... which costs $118 ...

then , i made up my mind that my old nike bag is going into retirement ... then i gave my buddies 3 choices ... nike, le coq sportif, or crumpler ... personally, i chose the latter and so, even though that they did not give me aby advice, we went to the crumpler concept store at paragon (in shorts, slippers, kt's singlet) what fashion sense !! but who cares ...

i went there, asked for the newest collection .. but all the things looked the same just like the first crumpler i ever saw ... but .. i still got my hands on one barney rusell blanket messenger bag .. spent some time thinking about the choice of colours , and soon decided to get the not too attention seeking and not easily dirtied colour .. grey .. hopefully the critics will be good !! this costed me $159 ... love the bag .. yet hate to part with the money .. haha .. but whatever ... SOLD !

then , we went to several nike store for kw's bag .. he was searching for a yellow prints and blue based shiny bag .. we eventually found it at heeren .. but given the bad critics by us, he decided not to buy the bag ... then we went to ltd ed ... we saw a bag which was somewhat nice .. then we psycoed him to buy that .. he eventually did and paid $69 for it .. edwin ! looks like urs eh ! but dun worry .. its words are blue !!

thinking that we spent a total of $346 today ... our singapore's economy will actually be stimulated positively ... it would be a hard process to calculate the marginal propensity to consume (to actually calculate how much our spendings will be multiplied...) but ... for sure the when the personal consumption is increased , aggregate expenditure, income for the sellers, and GDP will increase due to the multipler effect ... macroeconomics terms ! most of u guys will touch on that next semester... good luck !!

gonna go on admiring my new bag .. gonna wear it everywhere i go !! haha !!! hope to win the spendings back in tomorrow's mj showdown .... (fingers crossed !!!)

gym ...

today , i went to gym with my buddy .. edwin ... it was the first workout day since like , june ... alright .. we were almost dead .. looking at the hunks in the gym , makes us look so kiddish .. there was once, we tried to lift up a 60kg dumbell , haha .. we used 2 hands to lift it up by an inch .. but when we walked away to play with other equiptments, there was one giant who came shortly after that...

we saw him lift up 2 of the 60kg weight and working out .. whooo ... think he can crush our skulls with his biceps .. haha ...

alright ,,, let alone that... over there, we saw giant ah peks !! dont really understand why do they train .. but its a good sign indeed .. its good that they exercise !! looking at them makes me think of hulk hogan ... but i must say that their shape is much more well maintained... u can still see the lines wheres hogan's muscles is all but a huge lump of meat... maybe this is where the steroids show their effects ...

ok .. enough of the hunks... now , US ! ok .. we started by running on the threadmill .. then went on to the equiptments .. for calf , chest , abs and biceps ... whoo .. the biceps one was freakin difficult ... i gave up after lifting it for 2 times .. it is so against the body's articulations !! i wonder how the hunks are able to do it like 10-20 times ..

oh ya !! now , time to haolian my results... early in the morning, i checked the time and saw it was 12 am ... then i told myself ... its here ... i looked at my phone : 1 text message ... alright .. this is it .. i opened it .. whoo .. the 1st module : A .. looking down .. B , C+, B ,B ,B ,B+ ... ok lor ... gpa 3.1 can go university ??

think i scored C+ for bmgt cos i crapped too much .. anyway, its over !!! haha ...

ginger coke ...

lol ... a little recipe to share ... supposed to be a cough remedy(but it doesnt help much) ... alright .. yesterday when i was having supper, an inspiration struck me and made me perform a somewhat crazy chemical experiment ... that is to boil coke with slices of ginger...

the taste was alright ... not too used to it though ... hot coke ! imagine ... no longer carbonated ... actually adding the ginger does not help , because i could not taste the ginger ... lol ..

i suspected a reek of plastic ... but alright .. lets not dwell on it anymore ... it is already inside .... haha ...

i not stupid too ...

stayed at home for the entire afternoon... had a somewhat suprise visit from my aunt ... why? because when she called my home and i answered, i was still partially in neverland... lol , so , disclaimer: next time when you call and i am the one answering, please do not take that every statement i said was made conscientously...

nevermind that, luckily someone opened the door for her(not me of course) ...

when i woke up, she was watching the vcd of > i joined her to re-watch the movie for the 2nd time ... i must say, the movie is an excellent one made by jack neo... it seriously touched my hard in many aspects... even for the 2nd time round watching, i was brought to tears ... so, jack neo , despite hating your variety show top fun! you still make a good movie ... cheers !

the movie depicts 2 extremes, it can be very funny at times, and touching at another moment.. great balance of emotions ... but what leaves a deeper impression was the touching parts, it made my tears flow like the tap and my blocked nose became even jammed...

the part where jack neo went on his knees to plead the ah mah not to send his son to the police... look what a father is willing to do for his son .. going on his knees in the public is no easy gesture ... i cried ...

another part was when the gangster father was combating with people trying to wrestle his son for robbing the old ah mah i mentioned earlier... as he was being beaten up, he screamed,"dont beat my son, why beat him, why beat a kid, let him go!"... look, even when he was being beaten up, he still puts his son in his first priority ... again tears flowed down my cheek ... what a father... in the end, he rolled down the stairs and had his head injured, and eventually died...

theres more, it was when the little boy (jack neo's youngest son) was caught stealing the money of the canteen stall auntie... reason being- he wanted to save up money enough to buy 1 hour of his father's time to watch his performance .... oh my god ... how touching... for once, i am glad that my parents were not high earners, at least they spend more time with us ...

suay chalet !

haha ... never have i been to a chalet so suay ... let me tell you the events one by one later ... overall, the chalet was fine .. okok lor ... not too good, and neither is it too bad ... it was kinda boring at times and of course, there were times where i enjoyed ...

we spent half of the time in the chalet itself and the other half outside ... we cycled, played bridge, went to arcade, played pool , bbqed , watched tv and slept ... thats about all the activities i could think of ...

for the first day , we bought all the bbq stuff last minute because it was a last minute decisicon to hold a bbq (if not, there will be nothing to do) so alright .. we bought the stuff and rented the pit ... the bbq went smoothly until it started to rain (suay* incident no.1)... we had to move the pit under the shelter and went on inside... we enjoyed the sausages, uncooked chicken wings otah and drinks ... thats about all in the first day .. we played bridge in the room and eventually everyone was knocked out ...

second day, we decided not to rent the bikes too early as we didnt see the point of renting it so early. so, we walked to downtown east to play pool .. we played like one game (wow!) and decided to go back to the chalet ... let me tell you what happened... firstly, some of us (not me) was caught wearing their school related shirt (suay* incident 2) into the place and was kinda asked to leave ...

then, when me and edwin was finished our match of the century we found out that one ball was missing .. then we were like putting the balls into the pockets to kinda knock the stuck ball out of the gutter (you should know what i mean) but the ball never came out .. then we were so fustrated we started slamming the balls into the pockets (like roll it super hard into the pockets) ... then edwin lol rolled super hard that the ball got flung out of the table ... guess what the ball hitted ... the glass panel of the shop(suay* incident 3), which obviously gave out a loud bang !! we were so thankful that the thing was not broken (imagine if it was) ... haha .. we were literally wrecking their place ...

but ! remember the ball i was talking about previously (suay* incident 4)? it is still not out yet .. thinking that we might be asked to compensate them with a new set of balls, we kept on to search for the ball ... and eventually , it was found by non other than anderson the sharpeye... i found out that the idoitic pool table actually had a third gutter in the middle(which i still dont understand what is that for!). it was indeed a brainless design by whomever it was ...

then, after creating such a huge commotion, we decided to leave ... ok , fair, atleast everyone pocketed a ball once ... lol ..

then, we walked back to rent the bike, to our shock, the uncle told us that the bicycle was 'rented out' (suay* incident 5). desperate for a bike, if not, we will not have anything to do at night, we walked approximately 1.5km to the second nearest bickcle kiosk (because we didnt know there was another one nearer). fine ! luckily the uncle was a nice guy, jovial and friendly , even gave us a $2 discount ! ok ... then we wer satisfied... but now, we had an initial strength of 10, and we all had bikes for ourselves, plus, there are 2 other bikes meant for the two beauties still enjoying their cup noodles in the chalet... we had no choice but to like do a 'one man 2 bike' thingy... but who is to do such a risky stun ? again, its no other than anderson the superhuman !

i started smoothly, went pass lots of people, roads, whoo !! i am so cool (for about 1km)... but,,, when i was going down slope, i kinda went all the way, went on full speed, not remembering that i was riding two bikes... then, i saw some rocky roads ahead and i decided to slow down .. i pushed the brakes for my main bike, (the one i was riding on) and the momentum of the sub-bike was too great to overcome ... it went on straight when i was already stationery ... i was pulled forward and flew off my bike ... (not too far, ofcourse , because i am superhuman) ... luckily, there were a few minor wounds on my ankel and thats about it ... about the sub-bike, it went on cyclying by itself for about 5 meters before it loses its balance... haha ... (suay* incident 6)

then, everyone got their bikes, no need for any more stunns , we went back to the chalet to wait for the sun to set (so that it would not be too hot to cycle). on our way back, we went to play in the playground in the park , had fun in the expense of children, because we took their territory... dont know if u can see this, but nvm cos my pic wasnt tt nice either.. haha ..

it was dinner time, and we cycled to elias mall. ordered $80+ worth of food and had our bellys satisfied...

waited back at the chalet until 12am before we went out again for night cycling..

whooo ... it was byfar the best cycling trip as we went the furthest... to tampines ... we had macdonalds there, for supper and it was 2am ... we were shagged out ... and decided to cycle back ...

we had to ride through the interchange to get back to the road.. but as i was cycling down the steps , i did not get enought time to stand on the pedal , and i went down sitting ... OUCH !!! LOW BLOWED !!! (suay* incident 7)... after recovery, we went on cycling and i felt that there was something wrong with my bike, it became very jerky we then stopped to check on the bike and found out that the gear changing thing was out if place (suay* incident 8).

we tried all means to fit it back but we never succeded ... we gave up and cycled on ... perhaps a miracle happened and the bike was back to normal, and became even speedier ...

we managed to get back and phew ... so glad that the day was over.. got a good bath and went to bed....

for the last day , we checked out late, luckily nothing happened, no penalty or whatsoever. then we went to white sands for breakfast ... went home and slept till no later than 8pm ...

oh my gosh !!!

today , i went SWIMMING !!! whoo ... at delta swimming complex ... i was early and kw was late .. ok lor .. we didnt play the $2 thingy ... but .. the weather started turning bad ... dark clouds cover the skies... drops of tiny raindrops fell onto the skins of playing children ... please ! let me swim !!

then, when kw arrived , i actually harboured thoughts of not swimming ... but due to sheer persistence, we went ahead ... just as we were about to buy the entry card thingy, the auntie sitting in the office kinda caught us for purchasing the child card which costs $0.60 ... $0.70 cheaper than the adult one ... then she asked whether or not we were students ... we said ya ! and handed her our student pass ... i was like thinking , wth !! as if the money earned goes to her ... but whatever, things went our way and we went into the pool ...

just as we are about to swim , YES !! streaks of bright golden sunlight piearced throught the dark clouds ... winds were strong, and apparently the dark clouds were blown away.. whooo ... we started swimming ... kw swam 10 laps only.. and me ... -3 laps more (only mah !)... after months of not exercising, my stamina kinda dropped to zero ... ok lor ... nevermind .. wait till next week after the chalet, i am gonna train to become as strong as the rock !! from the start of the 1st lap, i just felt like dying... struggling to gaspe for precious oxygen... and until the 7th .. i just feel like vomiting into the side water escape thingy .. lol .. luckily i didnt... and i felt that i should not push myself before i really do vomit into that thing ..

after that , we walked (cos the busfare was not worth paying for) to tiong baru plaza to have a drink... i bought a cup of watermelon + apple juice which costs like $2.50 ... the cup was basically filled with half ice, 1/4 juice and 1/4 bubbles ... fine .. blame myself for not wanting to resist my temptations for a sweet juicy drink ... recalling that in the past, at our workplace, the juices costs only $1.80 .. only few cubes of ice and full of juice !! oh my gosh !! what have this world became ...

after chilling out , we went to courts !! and bought a $49.90 headphones ... cool ... the sound ,, whoo !! i tell you ... haha ... it seemed capable of blasting your eardrums off ... i used to turn on my mp3's volume to 95% ... but now , 65% is already more than enough ... GREAT !! it dignifies its value...

after that, we went home thinking of meeting for dinner at a later time.. that eventually didnt happen, kt said he was tired , so not coming out ... ok lor ... nvm lor .. eat with my parents save money !! haha ...

ooh ... and about yesterday ... i kinda failed to just sleep with the fan on.. because, after a while, the room turned stuffy ... so eventually, i turned on the aircon ... wondering what had happened to me , i actually caught a flu yesterday (before i switched the aircon on).. power ! looks like i am not able to help save electricity anymore ... but nevermind, i can still save on the heater electricity...

tomorrow already is the chalet .. wow .. so soon ... guess what we are gonna do ... havent packed my stuff ... lazy to do so .. maybe i'll just throw in a few t-shirts and shorts ...

today, i have to thank my friends, kt and kw for fineing me of my $4 ... all thanks to them for not giving me the grace of 15mins ... its a long story and its already spilt milk not worth crying for .. so ,,, FINE !!!

we went to to watch little man at cathay and i should say, it was a good movie ... funny yet touching at times ... the wonderful illustration of both fatherly and motherly love that we often take for granted ... so, we should be thankful to our parents for the love they showered us with ..

on my way to the cinema ... wow ! you should say , Singapore is a gardern city !! whoo .. it is so beautiful along orchard road ... just love the colours added on to the otherwise barren concrete jungle of singapore ... wonderful !!!

after the movie, we went to the istana park to snap some pictures (as shown above) the view was just gorgeous !!! i really loved the place .. full of colours and sunshine ... everyone should go take a look ... hope all the flowers remain there even after the imf and world bank meetings...

we walked to orchard road as the bus fare was too expensive in my opinion ... its like $0.65 for a trip from my house to bukit merah interchange !! its way too much thinking i used to pay $0.64 cents from my house to clarke quay (in my secondary school days) ... why cant they charge poly students the same rates as those in the jc ??? its just not fair !!! even the concession costs twice as much !!! omg ...

thats not all ... when i reached home, i found a leter from singapore power grids ... its the electricity and utilities bill... the first thing i said to myself when i checked the figure is WTF !!! $301 ... omg ... its so expensive ... what have we done to cause the prices to soar to this state ... it was $250 the previous month ... lets hope that it was not attributed to the excessive use of my computer !! or else ....

looks like i am going on electricity rationing for the coming month ... as a part of the family with zero income, i think i should play a part... not by paying .. but at least by saving ...

from today onwards, i am going to sleep without the aircon on .. (only fans) ; not to on the heater when bathing; and to cut my hours in front of the computer ; not switching on the tv unless i am watching it ... (hope that helps) ....

4C 2005

now ... since i have so much time to spare .. i shall introduce to the world my favourite class of my life !! class 4C ... it is made up of plenty of sweet people .. we bonded like super glue .. the guys were like brothers and gals were like sisters to everyone ... we were like family ...

for the whole sec 3 and 4 years, i never felt tired to go to school (although somehow i always fall into erhm's hypnotism)... i enjoyed every moment i spent with them ... those were the days ... we would go out almost everyday after school and only return home at 11.30 pm (thats my record) even when the 'o' levels is approaching ...

there were alot of emotions involved during this two years. gossip,romance, anger, hate, laughter , everything under the sun happened to us ...

next monday we are going to have a chalet together .. maybe not all of them are attending (lets hope for the best). wonder if the teachers are coming along ... (keep me updated alright ?)

also , our ex- form teacher presently close friend - Mrs Gan's newest addition to her family, cute and handsome Gabrel's brother is due to arrive to the world very very soon ... Congrats !!

for the whole day, i was spending my time watching tv, napping, and nothing else... i am soooo bored ...

btw. the last episode of the measure of a man ( da nan ren xiao nan ren) was brillant ... melissa ended her relationship with norman and went forward to carry on with her married life, kate sorted things out with her mother in law and eventually progressed to live happily ever after. and chua eventually got divorced with his wife ... which is kinda good thing , because they just cant get along and pat just cant trust chua ... only pity is brad , who is gonna live a live without a mother....

back to topic.... after reaching home at 7.30am , i took a bath and went to sleep ... i woke up at 4.30pm ... watched tv, yu le bai fen bai - whoo !! jay chou was on.... you will be suprised by his humour as he just dont look like a guy who will poke fun at his celebrity friends non-stop ...

kinda like him for his style, humour and talent ... whooo ....

so lonely i am ... planned to go swimming today but kw and i felt too sleepy to go swimming. nevermind....

i went to tiong baru market to have my breakfast ... ALONE ... Nevermind ...

i took a bus thinking of swimming ALONE ... by the time i reached. the fellow told me the pool is going to be closed in half an hour time ... NEVERMIND ...

i walked from redhill to bukit merah interchange to take a bus home , stoneed at home and watch tv ... hope our mj gathering comes true tonight ...

btw... talking about the market, wow !! you wont belive it was a market ... neither are you going to imagine what the tiong baru market looks like in the past ... whooo ... the design is just sweeet ... escalators , high celings , brightly lit with natural light. full of landscape.... cool place to visit... the hawkers are sooo friendly .. they joke and tease you ...

plus factor ! smoke free ... the smokers have an area on their own in the "unsheltered" part of the building ...

whats more ... i saw a banner saying 3 taliored pants for $100 bucks ... thats $33.3333333 for a pair of pants ... whooo ... those are not cheap stuff eh ...

for once, watching soccer could be so relaxing and how do you say it ? like unleashing all the stresss kept in yourself...

mmm .. but of course at the expense of the other people .. the china ppl ...

we were like hurling abuse at them and i think nuclear bombing us came through their minds ...

i kinda feel bad for showing such ugly behaviour. but what to do ? i am patriotic ... everyone were just swearing at them like nobody's business... everytime they fall , attack , or take a corner, singaporeans will just jeer ... even if it is a real fall, or corner ...

once, there was a chinaman carrying their flag on his back , i dont know what is in his mind, he actually walked pass the singaporean stand. i was thinking, arnt they located at another side of the stadium ?

the singaporeans begand to curse and swear, and of course , the chinaman showed some unfriendly gestures which obvious triggered the singaporean fans... now, the whole row of audiences stood up to join in the curse and swearing ... it was quite fun, because its perhaps the only time where you can swear at a stranger without getting into deep deep trouble... so it was really nobody's business...

of course, given the culturedness of singaporeans, we obviously did not swear for the entire match... what is quite touching (i should say) is that singaporeans actually initiate to do the magnificent kallang wave...

so, we got to gether as one united people ,nation , singapore to swear, curse and do the kallang wave ... cool eh ...

lol .. on my way home from zouk , when i was on the bus (obviously) i was sitting at the back row. guess what i saw...

an indian man was sitting at my opposite side and i dont know what he did and suddently there was a bsh sound ... i turned around and saw the indian man panickly trying to fit the thing back ...

i cant help but to laugh ... i didnt know that was possible ...

today i woke up at 12am ... WOW .... first time in like one week.

the main purpose is to attent the mass recruitment drive of ikea. i waited for more than half an hr for my buddy . and when he arrvied, we approached the staff there-"have you all completed ns?" i was like thinking what the hell, i came for nothing ? but nvm, we managed to apply for the part time staff and hopefully they did not throw my form full of cancellations away . whatever...

after that, we went to subway for lunch and went home to change into zouk wear(whatever that means).

after that, me and kw went to zion hawker center to have a duck rice take away and we went to his house to have our dinner. we rushed through the dinner and went straight to zouk..

the queue was not as long as we expected and we kinda mannaged to go in easily ... not so easy to get a standing ground with a good view though...

in there, i met kt's classmates, there were nice ppl and ok , i kinda went for their class outing.

i shouldnt say it was total clubbing as i felt that it was a function held at a club. thats all. no dancing , poaching , whatsoever.

even when the band was rocking the house, no one was even moving. everyone jus watched with their arms folded. wth .... no one was high...

then comes the pagent, ok , the gals were hot (kinda) and ya kt's friend won.

the thing wasnt that fun at all, everyone were stoning. the atmostphere was just not there.

zouk up

hello, this is my third and perhaps the last time today posting something in like 1 hour. lol ...

tomorrow, our buddies might be visiting where many u-18 kids long to go (no me for sure) zouk.

yes, we are going clubbing as a u-18 , getting drunk by perhaps, coke or whatever. tomorrow is going to be an eye opener to see what young adults do when they have too much $$ to spend.

k wee's place ( our usual mj hangout) is just opposite zouk and everytime we go there, we know whos going to where.as in- those in glam will go to zouk and those in sports like me and my fellow buddies will go to blast furnance( further elaboration is deemed unnecessary). lol ...

ooh , i forgot to mention, i am going for some kinda miss seventeen contest. it was kt friend who is participating and those who had voted are sent an invitation to attend the finals if the contest. just hope i can blend well with their jc friends.

another thing i will be pondering about is what to wear, given the theme punk rock , what i can only think of is a black shirt with red tie, what else for a guy? imagine if u wear that and attend the party, and find out one-fifth of the people are wearing the same thing, omg, i cant imagine. perhaps retro or metal might be a more volatile theme.

mmm ... dressing brings up another interesting topic to discuss on, perhaps i would post something regarding that soon enough.

my buddy edwin and i are going to ikea tomorrow for their mass recruitment drive. looking for a long awaited job. hopefully the pay is cool so that i can get people to envy me for my wealrh. but i dont think that will happen. but whatever the pay, getting a job is always much better than sitting at home rotting , spending your time by the seconds.

bam, the first time can be extremely exciting and fustrating at the very same time. getting mixed feelings of slamming the computer on the floor and sitting down waiting patiently....

one thing i dont understand is that i always get disconnected from the internet everytime i do something 'important'. ask who? singnet i guess...

everytime im on a killing spree on dota, i get disconnected. everytime chelsea scores a goal, i lag by around 2 mins before i am able to see the goal smoothly. what is the use for a 3500kbps connection then ? is it not meant to make my life smoother, add colours to my life instead of fuel into fire ?
